Overall not bad. Ordered the chix sliders, sent them back as they were Luke warm and not crispy. Ordered a Manhattan with Makers, first one was good, ordered second, wasn't Makers and server was no where to b found. We had to ask for her after 10 minutes. I explained that the second drink wasn't Maker's, she fussed a bit and said she turned in the correct drink. They did credit the drink but give me a break. Just say ur sorry and let's move on. Not going back.

Montauk in Scottsdale was a quaint little gem with delicious dishes, drinks and a great coastal vibe. A popular stop with the locals. Will definitely visit again

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had—I made a reservation with the Montauk one week before Valentine’s Day, was told if we cancelled within 24 hours of the reservation we would be charged $20 per person, and received multiple confirmation emails/texts leading up to our reservation (including a text ONE HOUR before our reservation time). I have many food stipulations right now because of my health and chose the Montauk for its menu items, ability to make a reservation, and dining experience. We drove an hour and 15 minutes on the day before Valentine’s Day to make our 5pm reservation only to find out that the entire restaurant was “closed for maintenance.” We were starving at 5 pm and weren’t able to get into any other restaurants until 8 pm because of busy holiday dining. All of our Scottsdale plans were ruined as we had to go back to our home town to find a restaurant that could get us in at all. I had a pounding headache by the time we ate and our holiday was completely ruined. No email/or texts leading up to the reservation to tell us they had closed AT ALL. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. We will not be dining here ever again nor will we recommend it to anyone. Why can they charge us $20 per person for missing a reservation but a complete failure to communicate their closure results in no financial penalty for them? I feel you guys should pay us $40 for a ruined night and gas money spent on a wasted drive to Scottsdale.
